Wayne Bishop Jr. is Executive Vice President of Clarion Events North America, where he oversees the Energy portfolio, including POWERGEN, DISTRIBUTECH, DTECH regional events, and the media brand, Factor This. He brings more than 35 years of experience in the electric power industry, with expertise spanning strategy, business development, marketing, sales, operations, and consulting.
A Senior Member of IEEE, Wayne has held numerous leadership roles within the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES), including serving as Vice President of Meetings and Conferences from 2019–2024. He is a frequent industry speaker and contributor who has moderated many panels worldwide and regularly delivers keynotes on topics impacting the energy industry. Wayne also serves on several industry and academic advisory boards.
