Registration FAQs

Registration is scheduled to open in fall 2026. Use the sign‑up option below to receive updates and announcements.

Badge costs differ depending on the pass type you choose. Visit our registration packages page and select the appropriate tier to view the most accurate pricing.

The main difference between the All Access Pass and the Expo‑Only Pass is the level of conference access: the All Access Pass includes the full educational program - technical sessions, workshops, Grid University, roundtables, networking events, and eligibility for PDHs - while the Expo‑Only Pass is limited to the exhibit hall, keynotes, Knowledge Hubs, and welcome receptions. In short, All Access = full conference + education, while Expo‑Only = exhibit hall + limited sessions.

Yes, we offer group packages exclusively to utilities through the Utility Partner Program (UPP). UPP places utilities at the center of DTECH® and offers a range of exclusive discounts and benefits. The UPP offers privileges to member utilities and their employees attending—enabling them to network with utility peers and meet with the suppliers.

If you need an invoice/receipt, you can log into the Registration Resource Center with your badge/registration number and email address. If you need an invoice/receipt from a previous DTECH event, please send us an email request to info@distributech.com, and we'll typically get back to you within one business day.

In order to receive PDHs, you must have an All Access badge and attend either the Grid University courses and/or the technical conference program from Monday-Thursday. Grid University offers a 3 or 4-hour certificate and the technical conference program offers a 18-hour certificate.

Your certificate will be emailed to you after the event if you have completed the post show survey.

Cancellations must be received in writing by January 8, 2027, for a refund, minus a $110* administrative charge (*or full value of pass on date of purchase, if under $110). After January 8, 2027 refunds are not available. Substitutions may be made at any time, by contacting the registration department IN WRITING at info@distributech.com.

Spouses and children are permitted to attend the event for a fee. To add a spouse for $125, please select the "Add Spouse" option on the final page of your registration and enter their first and last name. Includes access to the Exhibit Hall, Opening Keynote, Opening Party, and Networking Party. Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to attend. Attendance for minors aged 15 and older may be approved on a case-by-case basis; please email info@distributech.com for consideration.

Please check with the US Embassy to learn whether you require a visa to enter the United States. We suggest you check regularly for the latest travel updates. At this time, we recommend you apply for a US visa as early as possible due to ongoing processing delays and longer wait times for visa appointments.

If you do require a visa, please access your registration through our Registration Resource Center, using your email address and your badge/registration number. You can then provide your details prior to printing your customized visa letter for your travel preparations:

Hotel & Travel FAQs

It has come to our attention that unauthorized housing companies have been contacting DTECH® attendees via email and phone and in general, misrepresenting themselves as an official housing vendor for DTECH®.

The only official housing company for DTECH® is Connections Housing.  All other companies do not have any affiliation with DTECH®.  We highly caution you from engaging unauthorized companies because if/when issues arise, DTECH® management does not have the ability to provide assistance in solving them.

Please report any unauthorized housing and travel solicitations to Chantelle Bean.

Clarion here with a friendly reminder to always remain vigilant in relation to any change of beneficiary requests when processing payments to us.  Bad actors frequently target small businesses and use a variety of tactics, including typosquatting, in an attempt to appear more convincing.  If you ever have any questions related to payment, changes in instructions from Clarion, or anything else, please always give us a call prior to issuing payment.

Sponsor / Tabletop Exhibitor FAQs

We have a variety of options to choose from. To get detailed pricing and availability, please  contact our team.

We understand that you may be contacted by outside companies attempting to sell you exhibitor services, lead retrieval, hotel reservations, attendee lists, or more for the upcoming DTECH event. Please rest assured, we never sell our exhibitor’s contact information – in fact, we follow strict data privacy regulations at Clarion Events, DTECH’s parent company.

These 3rd party companies will scrape event websites for exhibiting companies and research contact information in order to present themselves as show partners. Unless the email is coming from one of these addresses, it is a scam – and we ask that you please proceed with caution!

  • @clarionevents.com (overall event updates and information)
  • @livebuzz.co.uk (registration)
  • @clarionevents.com (lead retrieval)
  • @theexpogroup.com (booth set up, shipping, exhibit services)

Don’t be fooled by other parties using DTECH, DISTRIBUTECH, DISTRIBUTECH International, Clarion Events name and/or logo – they are NOT affiliated with Clarion Events or DTECH. At the very least, prior to engaging with any of these outside companies, feel free to verify with your sales team representative, or check the prospective vendor’s rating at www.bbb.org.
