Dr. Xing Wang is currently Global Leader of Grid Modernization at AWS Energy and Utilities, responsible for power grid business development and solution strategy. He joined Amazon Web Services in Nov 2021 from Centrica/British Gas, where he had worked for 5 years as SVP Product Development and CTO of Centrica Business Solutions. Prior to Centrica, Xing was Sr. Director of R&D and Software Engineering with GE/Alstom Grid Solutions, responsible for development and implementation of grid and market management solutions worldwide. He is based in Seattle, WA.
