Over twenty-four years of utility experience in Customer Service, Distribution and Information Technology with Georgia Power and Southern Company. In my current role, I oversee the strategic planning and daily operations of Georgia Power’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure systems. This includes managing the team responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of data from end-point devices thru the Network and back-haul systems into the AMI Head-in and delivered to subsequent enterprise systems. I previously held positions in Georgia Power’s Distribution GIS and Support organization focusing on the development and implementation of technologies to support distribution. Areas include: Smart Grid, Geographical Information System (GIS), Outage Management (OMS), Work Management, Web, Mobile, Asset Management and enterprise systems Integrations.
