Vik Trehan
Vik Trehan is Vice President of Transmission, Substations & Operations at Southern California Edison, where he helps lead critical elements of SCE’s transmission and distribution operations. His responsibilities include supporting the safe and reliable operation of SCE’s electric system, including grid operations, substations, transmission, construction, and maintenance. Vik brings a practical operator’s perspective to the future utility conversation, with direct experience modernizing grid operations in one of the country’s most complex electric systems. His perspective is especially relevant as utilities integrate more sensors, automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve reliability, resilience, wildfire risk management, and real-time operational visibility.
