Tyler Norris

Head of Market Innovation - Advanced Energy , GOOGLE

Tyler H. Norris is Head of Market Innovation on Google's Advanced Energy team, focused on modernizing power markets in response to AI-driven demand.  He is the lead author of the seminal Duke University study, "Rethinking Load Growth," which led to his Congressional testimony and inclusion on the TIME100 Climate 2025 list.  With 15 years of energy sector experience, Tyler previously served as VP of Development at Cypress Creek Renewables, Director at S&P Global Platts, and Special Advisor for Technology Commercialization at the U.S. Department of Energy.  He is currently a James B. Duke Fellow at Duke University, where his PhD research focuses on bulk power systems, and holds a BA from Stanford University.
