Tom Eyford is Oracle's global industry principal for utility operations solutions, helping to drive Oracle's operational technology solution strategy and working with utilities to apply technology in innovative ways to create real business value. With over 25 years in the utility industry, Tom began his career in 1993 with PacifiCorp, a large IOU in the Pacific Northwest, and served in a variety of roles in engineering, asset management, operations, and customer service. He was one of the early innovators of distribution automation, co-holding several U.S. patents.
Tom earned a BSEE from Washington State University and an MBA from Utah State University. He is also an active member of the IEEE Power and Energy Society.
