SYED QASEEM ALI, PHD, SENIOR ADVISOR, Advanced Technology Integration (ATI), has over ten years of industrial and academic work experience. Syed specializes in modeling, simulation, and analysis of power electronic systems and their applications for power systems. He has led industrial projects in developing controller hardware-in-the-loop (C-HIL) and power hardware-in-the-loop (P-HIL) testbeds for testing distributed energy resource (DER) controls and microgrid controls. He is an IEEE member and has published papers and written chapters in microgrid controls, DER controls, battery chargers for electric vehicles (EV), and energy management systems for charging stations.
