Susan Farrell is the VP and Global Head of Digital Grid Cybersecurity for Siemens Energy Grid Technologies, Digital Grid segment. With more than 30 years of energy experience and 15 years in advanced IT and OT/ICS cybersecurity experience in critical infrastructure, she specializes in compliance-led cybersecurity solutions for electric power transmission and distribution and has contributed to advancing the field through work with organizations including MITRE, DARPA, and ONR. Susan has led international teams, launched over 100 products, and actively advocates for OT/ICS cybersecurity across the industry.

·       Active working group member of the Cloud Technology Advisory Group (CTAG) for NERC CIP-related topics.

·       Contributor to major R&D organizations and defense/non-defense energy sectors.

·       Thought leader in OT cybersecurity technology innovation, SOCs, and supply chain risk management.

·       Contributed to the MITRE Working Group mapping CWEs to 62443 (now published).
