Shawn Carr
Shawn Carr is the Director, Energy Transition, Customer Strategy & Innovation at Hydro Ottawa, a key leader driving the utility's efforts toward sustainability and customer-centric future energy solutions. With 10 years of utility experience in strategic planning and delivery of customer-focused programs, he drives initiatives that deliver energy savings, emissions reductions, and support smart grid advancements. A leading voice in the energy transition, Shawn also brings over 20 years of total experience consulting building owners on sustainability and green building and is an active industry participant through his work on committees including the OEA Climate Change and Energy Efficiency committee, the EDA’s Conservation and Sustainability Council, the IESO’s eDSM governance committee and BOMA Ottawa’s Energy and Environment Committee.
