Semir Vajzovic

Semir Vajzovic, P.E. is Director of Asset, Investment & Risk Management at Ameren, where he leads risk- and health-based investment strategy across a roughly $400 million annual capital plan. He has spent more than a decade at Ameren building the analytics behind its capital decisions, from performance dashboards that weigh repair against replacement to the portfolio optimization underpinning the company's multi-year grid plans. He recently served as Ameren's witness before the Illinois Commerce Commission on how the utility develops and defends the investment portfolio in its 2028 Grid Plan. A licensed Professional Engineer and Fortnightly Under Forty honoree, he holds an MBA from Webster University and an electrical engineering degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
