Santiago Cascante has a Master's in Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Edinburgh Business School.

He has a broad international experience in the energy market in leading companies such as Schneider Electric and Siemens where he focused on developing new business opportunities in the Transmission & Distribution Market with a strong technological background. Before joining Gridspertise he led the Innovation unit in the DSO business at different Enel Group companies, developing new business models with a strong technological background on smart grids, flexibility, and smart e-mobility.

His current role as Chief Commercial Officer of Gridsperstise is to partner with DSOs all over the world to offer them the most innovative and effective technologies to accelerate the transformation and digitalization of their business, matching the company portfolio with market needs, developing new business opportunities and generating sustainable revenues.
