Sanman Rokade is a power systems engineer with nearly two decades of experience spanning transmission planning, grid operations, and engineering management across the utility and industrial sectors.

Rokade holds a Master of Science in Power Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from COEP Technological University. He began his career at JSW Steel Ltd before completing internships at PacifiCorp and Robert Bosch in Germany, gaining early exposure to grid operations and motor control systems.

He spent over a decade at PacifiCorp in Portland, advancing from Transmission System Planner to Manager, where he led reliability studies, supported Energy Imbalance Market integration, and coordinated with WECC sub-regional planning groups. In 2021, he joined Portland General Electric, where he currently serves as Manager of Transmission Operations Engineering. Rokade also holds a NERC Reliability Coordinator certification.
