Samer Arafa

Principal Engineer, National Grid

Samer is a principal engineer in the Innovative Grid Solutions team at National Grid.  The team is responsible for developing technological solutions to address customer challenges. Samer is currently focusing on utilizing agile methodologies to deliver the Company’s Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS) in Massachusetts.  Samer earned his B.S.EE  from Jordan University of Science and Technology  and earned a M.S.EE from Northeastern University and holds a M.B.A from Umass. Samer is also a licensed PE in MA, a certified PMP and a certified Agile scrum master.
