Dr. Ryan Quint is the President and CEO of Elevate Energy Consulting and the President and Chief Engineer of GridStrong. He founded both organizations to revolutionize the way that the electricity sector tackles complex challenges during the energy transition. Combining Elevate’s deep expertise in inverter-based resource integration, grid reliability modeling and studies, regulatory compliance, and emerging reliability challenges with the power of software, both organizations are flipping the conventional consulting and software models on their head to maximize the value, speed of interconnection, and asset management support through the lifecycle of a project. Ryan has experience at NERC, Dominion Energy, and BPA. He received his PhD from Virginia Tech, is a registered professional engineer in Virginia, and was the recipient of the 2024 IEEE Power and Energy Society Outstanding Young Engineer of the Year Award.
