Ryan King is Manager of Market Design at ERCOT, where he leads initiatives to evolve Texas’ wholesale electricity markets, including the design and implementation of ERCOT’s Aggregated Distributed Energy Resources (ADER) Pilot Program. With over a decade of experience across system operations, regulatory affairs, and stakeholder engagement—both at ERCOT and the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) in Ontario—Ryan brings deep expertise in DER integration, capacity market design, and market rule development. He is widely recognized for bridging policy, operations, and innovation in evolving grid environments.
