Mr. Alaghehband has over 39 years of hands-on experience in all aspects of electric utility real-time operations, including EMS/GMS/TMS/DMS and ISO/RTO market operations. His current areas of interest are Smart Grid, Smart Cities, distribution automation, disaster management, and DER for reliability. He is also active with the DOE on evaluation of innovative technologies focused on power system production and management. He has a MS degree in Electrical Engineering and is a Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
