Philippe has been with Eaton, a global leader in intelligent power management, since 2007, following the acquisition of a Canadian software company specializing in real-time automation solutions for transmission and distribution systems.
With over 20 years of experience addressing challenges in the transmission and distribution (T&D) sector, Philippe has held leadership roles that expanded Eaton’s digital solutions across global markets. He regularly contributes to industry thought leadership through presentations and collaborations.

Philippe played a key role in defining Eaton’s vision for grid-edge intelligence and initiating the Grid Edge Platform strategy. He brought together internal teams and external market thought leaders to align on the concept and its value for utilities. This collaborative effort resulted in the Grid Edge Platform being presented at Distributech as a cornerstone solution for distributed intelligence.

In his current role, Philippe leads commercial readiness efforts to accelerate the introduction of new technologies into productized solutions that drive revenue growth. This work bridges market drivers, software development, engineering, and technology research into a unified mission to solve critical industry challenges. By aligning these disciplines, Philippe ensures that innovation moves efficiently from concept to market adoption.

His expertise spans go-to-market strategy development and market-driven innovation initiatives, accelerating the introduction of digital solutions that address energy transition challenges. Philippe works closely with Eaton’s Energy Controls Systems (ECS) Center of Excellence and Energy Research Labs to advance technologies that enable intelligence at the edge of the grid. He is based at the Eaton Americas Innovation Center near Montreal, Canada.
