Paul Mathew, P.E., is the Director of Strategic Coordination and Analysis at CenterPoint Energy, where he leads electric system planning initiatives with a focus on data-driven strategy, automation, and regulatory alignment. With over 15 years at CenterPoint, Paul has advanced through engineering and leadership roles, most recently overseeing interconnection strategies for distributed energy resources (DERs) by integrating technical modeling, statistical analysis, and streamlined processes. He brings a process-oriented engineering mindset to complex grid challenges and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston.
