Osmani “Ozzy” Pais brings 14 years of utility operations technology experience to his role as Manager of SRP’s Grid Performance Center. Since joining SRP in 2011, Ozzy has worked across reliability compliance, metering, and control engineering—gaining hands-on expertise with NERC/WECC standards, substation and generation metering systems, and SCADA/RTU integrations that support SRP’s Energy Management System.

Today, Ozzy leads and supports a team of engineers dedicated to advancing grid visibility, analytics, and operational performance. He leverages his OT background to guide the team’s development of scalable methods for validating ADMS power flows using AMI data, enabling SRP to strengthen model accuracy, enhance situational awareness, and accelerate grid modernization initiatives.
