Oliver Howarth is a Solutions Architect at Public Service Enterprise Group, where he designs and implements scalable data architectures to support analytics, cost saving initiatives and asset health and performance. With 10 years of experience across utility IT systems, SCADA, and pharmaceutical building automation, he brings deep expertise in operational technology (OT) data integration and enterprise analytics.

At PSEG, Oliver has progressed from Business Systems Analyst to Senior IT Supervisor and now Solutions Architect, where he leads the development of PI-based data solutions. He previously managed the AVEVA PI System, overseeing a team and driving improvements in PI tag standardization, data quality frameworks, and system integration. In his current role, he architects end-to-end data pipelines leveraging AVEVA PI, SQL, and cloud platforms to enable high-performance analytics and visualization.

His work focuses on structuring and contextualizing high-frequency operational data to support advanced use cases such as peak load analysis, asset performance monitoring, and distribution system analytics. He is particularly focused on enabling scalable, reusable data models that bridge operational systems with enterprise reporting and decision support tools.

Oliver holds an MBA, a Master of Science in Information Systems, and multiple graduate certificates in Business Analytics and Data Mining from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he also earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology.
