Obadiah Bartholomy
Obadiah Bartholomy is the Manager of Distributed Energy Strategy at the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. His team is responsible for developing Enterprise Strategy for distributed solar PV, battery storage, load flexibility, transportation and building electrification. This involves collaboration across grid, business, and customer functions to ensure customer offerings balance customer benefit with grid benefits and create positive business outcomes. Obadiah has worked for more than 20 years at SMUD in strategy and research functions. Obadiah is on the Board of the Energy Systems Integration Group and chairs their DER Working Group. He has a MS in Transportation Technology and Policy from UC Davis and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly.
