Power Quality Supervisor – System Protection Engineering, San Diego Gas & Electric-SDG&E

Nico Payne serves as the Power Quality Supervisor at SDG&E, within the System Protection Automation & Control Engineering group. With a strong background in Distribution System Protection and Power Quality, Nico leads the Early Fault Detection (EFD) program and oversees SDG&E’s extensive fleet of Power Quality monitors. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University.
