Neil Bhagat is currently the Director of the Distributed Generation Engineering team; in this role he leads the organization responsible for conducting system impact studies for solar and microgrid projects that seek to connect to Duke Energy’s distribution grid. Neil holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, a Master’s in Engineering and MBA from North Carolina State University. Neil has been in the energy sector for 18 years holding various leadership roles in; manufacturing, engineering, marketing, and business development.
