
Nazih Yazbeck
Nazih Yazbeck is a licensed Professional Engineer with over a decade of experience in electrical planning, distribution system design, and grid modernization. As Lead Engineer for Distribution Control and Integration (DC&I) at National Grid he leads strategic initiatives focused on the integration of advanced technologies such as Fault Location, Isolation, and Service Restoration (FLISR), Volt-VAR Optimization (VVO), and Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS). His work supports the development of resilient, efficient, and future-ready infrastructure across Massachusetts and beyond. Nazih holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, specializing in Power Engineering and Renewable Energy, and a master’s degree in construction project management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is also a certified asset manager, bringing a comprehensive perspective to utility modernization that bridges engineering, operations, and long-term asset strategy.
