Naveen Bokka is a Principal Technical Engineer – SCADA/Distribution Automation at PSEG Long Island. He has over 15 years’ experience T&D Utility industries. He is the lead engineer in Distribution automation group and Subject matter expert in Distribution Automation Schemes, Reclosers and Branch line restoration schemes, Smart Capacitor Banks, initiatives around analysis and impact of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) such as Solar and Batteries on the distribution grid. His recent works include an end-to-end architecture and implementation for a historian DSCADA system transition to OSI Monarch; integration of (Distribution Energy Resource Management systems) DERMS module, data scheme from DSCADA to OMS. He has excellent command of standard engineering and safety practices within an electric utility company along with a strong project management and supervisory skill set.
