Nathan Rice
I am the Supervisor of Electric Transmission Strategic Initiaves. My team performs the transmission reliability assessment for the Dominion Energy Integrated Resource Plan, analysis of data center performance and event root cause analysis. We also are investigating a probabilistic planning method and developing a hosting capacity analysis tool.
Before this role I was a Transmission Operations Support Consultant and subject matter expert with Dominion Energy for black start and coordinated emergency procedures.
I have 9 years of experience in the United States Navy in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting and nuclear propulsion plant watch team supervision on aircraft carriers and submarines. I enjoy completing challenging, diverse tasks and have a strong desire to help others succeed.
