Dr. Putnam is an experienced energy leader focused on grid modernization. His work supports the deployment of new technologies/processes and has developed several industry-wide initiatives to address emerging challenges. These include initiatives to address:

  • HVDC transmission standards
  • Offshore transmission networks
  • Community engagement best practices
  • Renewable energy curtailment
  • Distributed interconnection challenges

Prior to DNV, Morgan founded two companies and helped grow two other early-stage companies. In this work, Morgan raised $10 million of funding for new product development and launched Product Management and Business Development departments.
