Michael Vecchi is the Director- Industry Solutions   for Landis+Gyr, in his role he is responsible for leading end to end technical solution direction, implementation, and delivery of Smart grid solutions to utilities. He has been involved in the design, implementation, delivery, and management of requirements to the evolving and growing North American and International AMI markets for the past twenty years. He has an extensive background in AMI consulting services, developing new data models, designing, developing, and testing smart grid applications.   Mr. Vecchi has worked in the utility industry for 38-years.  He previously held engineering, project management and management positions with Boston Edison (Eversource) during his 38-years in the industry. 

Mr. Vecchi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University Boston, MA   and Master’s in Business Administration from Babson College Wellesley MA.
