Michelle is a Sr. Specialist, Market Development & Regulatory Policy on the Grid & Energy Services team at Ford Motor Company. In her role, she supports market development and policy advocacy, for Ford’s bidirectional charging products and vehicle-grid integration (VGI) programs for residential Ford EV drivers, collaborating closely with Ford’s Policy, Legal and Government Affairs organizations. Prior to this role at Ford, Michelle led the set up and operations of managed and bidirectional charging pilots and programs in collaboration with electric utilities. Prior to Ford, Michelle worked at the intersection of transportation and energy at some of the industry’s leading automotive and utility organizations. Throughout her career, she’s gained a unique and broad perspective on the important role policy plays in technology enablement and customer adoption. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from UC San Diego.
