Maurice Kimsey II is a Program Manager of Distribution Automation Strategy at Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) and has worked at the utility for 19 years.''In this role, he is responsible for providing technical expertise, thought leadership, and strategy development in support of OPPD'''s effort to deploy Distribution Automation technologies to enhance system performance and customer reliability.''He also performed the role of Senior Account Executive where he built relationships with large commercial and industrial customers in the community.''He started as a Distribution Planning Engineer where he designed circuits to improve reliability in OPPD'''s electrical distribution system. He was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Central High School in May 2006.''He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December 2012.''He earned his Master of Business Administration with a focus in leadership from Creighton University in May 2022.''
