Matt Wallace
Matthew Wallace is a full-time contract engineer with PPL Electric Utilities, consultant with WT Partners, and adjunct professor at Lehigh University. Matt specializes in interoperability between distributed energy resources (DER) and DER Management Systems (DERMS). For this work, Matt's team at PPL has received numerous accolades, including Smart Electric Power Alliance’s Utility of the Year, Public Utilities Fortnightly’s Top Innovators & Foremost Innovator in Distributed Generation, and SunSpec Alliance’s Open Standard Champion. He's served PPL in various roles, including Distribution Standards, Planning, and Control Center Engineering. Previously, Matt served the New York State Public Service Commission, the State's utility regulator, as a subject matter expert in electric distribution and distributed energy in the momentous Reforming the Energy Vision proceeding.
