Matt Peterson is a Lead Engineer at OPPD and a Professional Civil Engineer. In his engineering role at OPPD, Matt designs and engineers power services, provides construction and project management for OPPD's largest customers, evaluates and maintains the district's civil infrastructure and works to harden OPPD's construction standards and line performance in extreme weather conditions. Recently, he has been tapped to lead multiple strategic initiatives at the district including Distribution LEAN, Customer Experience, and the Electric System Evaluation and Grid Modernization initiative.
