Mr. Nelson is a Principal of Regulatory Strategy at Apex Analytics and a member of the PJM board. Nelson prevously served as the Chair of the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities and his experience leading the regulatory team at Eversource Energy. He has provided expert testimony on a wide range of topics, including safety, system planning, consumer protection, competitive electricity markets, and transmission development, before the Massachusetts legislature, US Congress, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and state and regional planning councils.
