Industrial research and development experience spanning over 15 years in the fields of power electronics, control systems and energy management systems in the roles of researcher, engineer, and project manager. Interested in the control and management systems required to improve the power delivery efficiency, reliability and power quality of electric grids with high penetrations of renewable energy sources. Enjoys opportunities to work with academia through industry sponsorship of research projects. Holds six patents and has published thirty-three papers in peer-reviewed journals and/or conferences, in additional to several articles in technical and trade magazines. IEEE senior member.
