Matt Hubbard
Matt Hubbard brings over 12 years of expertise recommending and successfully implementing operational technology solutions in the public and private utility sectors. As the Manager of Distributed Device Strategy at Portland General Electric (PGE), he currently leads PGE’s Smart Grid Test Bed initiative and teams developing and executing strategy for grid edge computing, AMI Next Gen, and IT/OT field devices. He is the Principal Investigator for PGE’s DOE funded $115M DOE grant initiative “Accelerating and Deploying Grid Edge Computing” and Connected Communities Project “SmartGrid Advanced Load Management & Optimized Neighborhood (SALMON)”. Matt is a licensed professional engineer and earned his Master's in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington.
