Mathias Bell is the Vice President of Policy and Marketing at WeaveGrid, where he leads policy and regulatory strategy, oversees market development, and drives go-to-market initiatives nationwide. He has provided policy and regulatory affairs oversight and thought leadership on innovative program design for all of WeaveGrid’s utility clients to date. Prior to this role, he spearheaded electric vehicle program development at Xcel Energy, including leading major regulatory wins in Minnesota and Colorado. He also held market development and regulatory roles at Opower (Oracle Utilities), working with over 20 utility clients. Earlier in his career, Mathias worked at Rocky Mountain Institute leading research teams and advising clients, including utilities, city and state governments, and regulatory agencies, on customer program strategies, including energy efficiency and renewables.
