Marcelo Sandoval is the Director of Advanced Grid Solutions at Landis+Gyr where he leads client-driven technical use case elicitation, strategic industry engagement, and customer-facing solution consultation for Landis+Gyr Analytics, Grid Edge Intelligence and Flexibility Management. Previously, he served as Principal Director of Innovation and Technology Strategy and as Global Product Manager for Analytics at Landis+Gyr. He has over 18 years of experience in electrical and computer engineering and business strategy. Before joining Landis+Gyr, Marcelo was Co-founder and CEO of ProsumerGrid, where he led multiple integrated grid and distributed energy resources planning projects for U.S. electric utilities in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy'''s ARPA-E, EPRI, Sandia National Laboratories, and NYSERDA. In the past, he also worked for organizations such as ABB, Intel, and Eaton Corporation. He serves on the DistribuTECH Committee on Grid Modernization, Datacenters and AI, the Total Grid Orchestration Working Group, and the Utility Analytics Institute'''s Grid Community. Recognized among Forbes''' Next 1000 Innovators, Marcelo holds a Ph.D. and an MBA from Georgia Tech, along with certifications in Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Management of Technology, Lean Six Sigma, and International Business Management.
