Dr. Marcelo Sandoval is the Global Director of Innovation and Technology Strategy at Landis+Gyr. He previously served as Global Product Manager for Analytics at Landis+Gyr, leading the roadmap strategy, development and deployment of Analytics solutions across four continents. Before joining Landis+Gyr, Dr. Sandoval was Co-founder and CEO of ProsumerGrid, where he successfully completed multimillion-dollar projects with U.S. electric utilities and partners such as the U.S. DOE ARPA-E, EPRI, Sandia National Labs, and NYSERDA, focused on integrated grid and DER planning analytics. In the past, he also worked ABB, Intel and Eaton Corporation. Named to Forbes' Next 1000 Innovators, Dr. Sandoval holds a Ph.D. and MBA from Georgia Tech, along with certifications in Project Management, Management of Technology, Lean Six Sigma, and International Business Management. He is a member of the DTECH Committee on Grid Modernization, Datacenters and AI, and TGO Working Group.
