Manuel Atanacio, BSEE/MBA, has over 39 years of total experience in the electric utilities sector both domestically and internationally. For over a decade, he worked for one of the largest American Public Power Association utilities in electric system operations and management of bulk transmission system networks, bulk power generation, distribution systems, Energy Management Systems and SCADA systems. Leveraging that background, Mr. Atanacio became a consultant in 1997 and has since assisted numerous domestic and international customers supporting strategy and operational technology programs for Electric Power Systems, Control Systems and Market Operations consulting projects. He is a past Vice President, Control Center Consulting and Systems Engineering for a major OT multinational supplier and is currently an Executive Consultant leading several domestic and international projects at ESTA International, LLC.
