Manuel Atanacio
Manuel Atanacio, BSEE, MBA, is an Executive Consultant with ESTA International and has more than 30 years of experience in electric utility operations and grid modernization. His expertise includes EMS, ADMS, and SCADA systems, transmission and distribution operations, North American electricity markets, IT/OT integration, operational readiness, and change management. He has supported utilities throughout North America in the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced operational technologies and is recognized for helping organizations navigate the technical and organizational challenges associated with grid transformation. Prior to joining ESTA International, he held engineering and leadership positions with the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority, KEMA Consulting (now DNV), Utility Integration Solutions/Alstom Grid, and Quanta Technology.
