Lawrence Rusli Yonathan is a Senior Engineer with Southern California Edison's System Planning Tools team. As the product lead for the SPEED project, he spearheads the development of next-generation integrated engineering workspaces and leverage AI-driven methodologies to advance system planning and strategy. Over eight years, Lawrence's expertise spans beyond his initial work within distribution engineering, large-scale project design, grid modernization, and resiliency. Lawrence has amassed experience in AI pilot initiatives, enterprise data efforts and customer-facing software that streamlines utility interconnections, always focusing on aligning practical technology investments with bigger strategic goals. Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
