Laura Dyer is passionate about supporting emerging startups, technologies and founders tackling the energy transition. She is an investor at Buoyant Ventures, a Chicago-based early stage Climate Tech VC that invests in digital solutions to climate change,'both mitigation and adaptation. Laura started her journey with Buoyant while pursuing MBA & MS Sustainability graduate degrees from the University of Michigan. Previously, Laura co-founded Michigan Climate Venture, the first student-run fund targeting early stage Climate Tech companies that have massive potential for rapid decarbonization. Laura is also a licensed CPA and worked in the investment management industry for Deloitte and Ares Management.
