Dr. Khaled Abdul-Rahman is vice president of Power System and Market Technology at the California Independent System Operator (ISO), where he oversees the integration of power system and market technology systems to implement policy initiatives and support operational needs under large penetration of renewable resources and other smart grid technology. 

Dr. Abdul-Rahman holds Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL, December 1993, M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Kuwait University, Kuwait, June 1990, and B.Sc. degree from Kuwait University, Kuwait, June 1986.
