Kevin Young is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of a portfolio of customer programs including conservation and distributed energy resource (DER) programs which include customer-sited solar, batteries, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and other grid edge resources. He has his bachelor and master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Tampa. Kevin joined Tampa Electric as an engineering co-op in 2002 and has held various roles in Power Plant Operations, Environmental, Energy Policy, Sustainability and Business Strategy. He is also a Professional Engineer registered in Florida.
