Kellee Christensen is the Director of Strategic Planning and Development at the Lansing Board of Water & Light. She is a Western Michigan University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and holds a professional engineering license. Kellee has over 32 years of experience in the public utility sector. She has expertise in distribution design for electric, water, steam, chilled water, and street lighting. Additionally, she has experience in electric vehicle infrastructure and pilot programs for early adoption. Before her current role, she managed BWL'''s technology transformation, which included replacing the customer information and billing system (CIS), upgrading advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), implementing the Geospatial Information System (GIS), and deploying operations technologies such as ADMS. In her current position, Kellee oversees strategic planning, integrated resource and energy planning, power purchase agreements, and risk management. She also manages BWL'''s energy strategy and decarbonization efforts, including clean energy sourcing, reducing energy waste, electrification, electric vehicle charging, and distributed generation initiatives. t of Michigan Clean Cities, is a board member of NextEnergy, and participates in the Western Michigan University Computer and Electrical Engineering Curriculum Board. She is also a member of the Building and Grounds committee for Highfields. '
