Kathy Nelson, PE is the Founder and CEO of KN Utility Telecom Consulting, a firm specializing in telecommunications strategy and planning for utilities. She brings over 32 years of experience in utility telecommunications, including a 25-year career at Great River Energy. Kathy has served on the UTC Board of Directors for a decade, including as Chairwoman from 2017–2018. She also served in leadership roles at a wireless manufacturer and a consulting firm before starting her own consulting practice.
Kathy lives in Minnesota and is the proud mother of three adult children and a spirited sheepadoodle.
