Overstory’s director of business development, Karim Al-Khafaji, lends strategic vision and organizational planning to help utilities and mission-driven organizations deliver meaningful results. Having started his career as a civil engineer and environmental scientist, Karim has a PhD in ecology from Stanford and undergraduate degrees in engineering and biology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Before joining Overstory, Karim worked at Opower, overseeing the teams responsible for the success of a diverse account portfolio representing utilities across the US and Canada.
