Karen McKelvie serves as Senior Manager of the Wildfire Mitigation for Pacific Gas and Electric Company where her team coordinates all Wildfire Mitigation Plan activities including narrative writing, target creation and tracking, maturity survey, quarterly data reporting, and annual report on compliance filings. McKelvie is a dynamic leader in program and project management, known for her proven track record of successfully orchestrating and executing complex initiatives that align with strategic objectives in highly regulated sectors, including financial services and utilities. Prior to PG&E, McKelvie spent nearly five years at Southern California Edison (SCE) where she led the Innovation Project Management Office and also led teams within Wildfire Safety where her responsibilities included Wildfire Mitigation Plan coordination, maturity survey, short-term grid hardening projects, external communications, and internal governance processes.
