Junhui Zhao

Junhui Zhao is the Director of Data Science & Analytics at Avangrid, where he leads the application of data science and AI to advance customer service and customer experience priorities, including improving customer satisfaction, reducing debt and arrears, and deflecting contact volume. Prior to Avangrid, he held leadership and technical roles at Eversource Energy and ComEd, and served as a tenured Associate Professor at the University of New Haven. His work has been recognized with the AEIC Award, the EEI Edison Award, the Fortnightly Top Innovator Award, and CIGRE and IEEE awards. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University.
