Julie Castro

Julie Castro leads utility and energy market partnerships for GM Energy across the Western and Midwestern United States, where she works to integrate GM electric vehicles and GM Energy's vehicle-to-everything (V2X) products into utility programs and develop new pathways for vehicle-to-grid adoption. Before joining GM, Julie spent nearly a decade at The Energy Coalition, most recently as Assistant Director of Energy Services, where she managed a $20M+ California state grant focused on clean energy deployment in underserved communities and oversaw energy efficiency, electrification, and resilience programs for over 50 public agencies. She holds a Master's degree in Urban Studies from UCLA and a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara.
